By now, some of you are thinking, why is Crowbar telling us everything, even giving away the keywords he had personally searched for?

Isn’t he worried about us stealing his keywords and topping him?

To those things I say, “Pish posh. Ratta matta poo.”

Well, not really.

The truth is I believe in the capitalist spirit and don’t mind if you steal my work. I hope you do make a million dollars off of what I say. I feel the only way for this Adsense blog to be successful is to pull down the curtain and show you everything that I have done. Plus, I don’t even know if what I am doing will work. So, if you steal my ideas and they fail, then I have a few partners in my misery.

Look, I got into the Internet back when it was mostly a place to share information freely and I still believe in those ideals. I feel that if you put information, pictures, movies, and content online, then others have the right to borrow it and make their own destiny from your works.

But, anyway, let’s get back to day three of my adventures trying to make money with Adsense blogging.

So, you remember my girlfriend’s sister’s boyfriend, right?

Well, we will call him John from now on.

John came into the back room and gave me some great ideas for keywords, mostly relating to dogs. So I ran a bunch of dog-related keywords up the Google flagpole, and came back with some decent hits.

One that interested me was Guard Dogs. When I searched for Guard Dogs on Google, I came back with a good chance to place in the top five. Hell, I might even place top dog, but I am still new at this and will be happy for now to just place in the top five. I figure when I get some websites under my belt that are producing, then I can set my sites at some higher competition.

So the keyword search for Guard Dogs, after I put in the formula and did my SEO search, was greenlighted at around a hundred bucks a month in potential revenue.

Cool, I found my first targeted Adsense blog.

Hey, Crowbar, you ask, what the Hell do you know about dogs?

Not too much. But I live with two dogs and John knows a lot about breeds, so it’s a start.

Look, the main thing about these keywords is that you do not need to be an expert. There is plenty of information on the web for you to write a few decent articles to get started. For right now, we are just trying to find a profitable keyword and get a domain.

So I went back to Court’s Crash Course Manual and watched the videos again about buying a domain. I ran a few ideas through Proud Domain’s Domain Search and came back with www.guarddogsguide.com.

First Major Rule, gang, is you got to have the keywords in the name. You can’t be fancy and call it Inthedoghouse.com or Dothesedoggiesbite.com because we are in the keyword search business.

If your keyword is not in the name, then you already lose. Period.

Well, maybe not, but I am not arguing with Court. He has made 3500 in one month off of a keyword. So listen to him, already!

So now I have a domain and I’m ready to start making money with Google as an Adsense blogger.

Well, not yet. I need a damn host now.

But that’s for tomorrow.

Alright, so I watched all the videos, read a few of the articles, and now I decide to give Court’s plan a try. I start brainstorming ideas. The first one I get is about the swine flu pandemic that is going around. I figure there is got to be ton of traffic heading in that direction.

So swine flu is the first search I did for a keyword. Now, I go to the Google Adwords Keywords Tool, adjust the show/hide menus so that I can see all the money I am going to make with the swine flu. Well, I come to find out that I am not going to make jack-diddley because swine flu is too new of a keyword to generate any results. Sure, I believe people are searching for it. Hell, I punched in a few URL’s and there are several sites already getting on the bandwagon. I’m sure if I was a professional Adsense blogger I could make a fortune with the damn swine flu. But I’m not taking my chances.

Swine flu probably fits the first rule that Court mentions in his Crash Course Manual. But, it doesn’t satisfy the other two rules which are the keyword has to be able to rank and peeps need to find the damn thing valuable.

Ain’t no sense of a million people coming to your site on nose picking, if nobodies buying ya boogers.

So now my goal is to find some keywords that people are searching for, that can be ranked, and that have value.

So I start generating my list, start plugging them into an Excel sheet, start running the Potential Formula from the manual on them. I find out that if I can get a site on laptops, I’ll make 88,ooo dollars a month.

Sweet.

So, I come down to earth when I install the SEO-for-Firefox plug-in and find out there is no way in Hell that I’m ever gonna place against the competition for laptops.

So, I go through my list and start turning all my special keywords red. Occasionally, I find one I want to make green, but I think I’m actually pushing it. Then my girlfriend’s sister’s boyfriend comes into the back house where I hide with my computer and he starts going on about his dam dog and how wonderful it is and how he likes to watch mixed martial arts….blah….blah…blah.

Wait. Dogs and People Beating Each Other Up.

These are some great keywords. Now, he keeps rambling on and filling me with a plethora of keywords.

Hmm, I wonder if people are searching for plethora.

Anyways, pretty soon I have over 400 hundred keywords to begin to look at for potential Adsense blog sites. After just a few hours, I nailed down a few keywords that did not look to hard to page rank in and that can generate at least a hundred dollars a month in potential income.

Not much, but it’s a start.

Now, onto my next step: Buying a domain.

But before I could spend diaper money on domains, I needed to make sure I had enough diapers. So, I had to shut off my computer and head out to Target and wait until the next day to get rich.

Okay, Gang, let’s get this rollin’. That first night after watching all of Court and Mark’s videos, I decided to jump into this making money with Google Adsense game. Let’s see if I can pass on what I learned to the rest of ya.

So, the first step is to go to the damn website. Here it is again, Court’s Internet Marketing School.

Go there and watch the How to Start a Blog Videos Series. It is the best place I have found to understanding what it takes to build an Adsense blog. But first you have to sign up for Court’s Keyword Crash Course and he sends you the link to the PDF. Believe me, this thing is invaluable in understanding exactly what is involved in a keyword search.

Keywords, I tell ya. It’s all about those damn keywords.

This crash course let’s you know everything there is to know about how to find your own keywords, how to evaluate them for potential, and to understanding what page ranks means when you decide what keywords you might like to tackle. He guides you through the process with easy to follow plans of how to accomplish an impressive list of keywords with just a few hours work. I had a few good selections after a couple of hours that had potential to earn more than a hundred bucks a month.

There are some videos in the manual that show you how to buy a domain and purchase your host server, but the really valuable videos can be found at their other site, The Keyword Academy. It costs a buck to buy into the site for a month, but it is the best damn buck I have ever spent outside of Mexico (You can’t beat three tacos for a dollar, sorry, Court).

Between the Crash Course manual, the introduction videos and the core videos at the Keyword Academy, you should have very good idea of just what is need to accomplish building an Adsense blog. Just spend some time watching, reading, and visiting some of the links that Court has on his page. He has friends who have similar ways of going about building a blog site, but I would start with Court first and then move on to the other sites.

So, that first day, I read and watched anything I could get my hands on that related to blogs making money with Google Adsense and decided that I would take a chance on following the lesson laid out by Court and Mark.

Then, my girlfriend got pissed at me for being on the computer all day, so that ended my first day on the road to Adsense blogging.
